🧐Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: When does the Herschel test network end?

Answer: End time: June 17, 2024, 12:00 UTC .

Question 2: Can nodes still operate and receive rewards after the Herschel test network ends?

Answer: After the operation ends, nodes can continue to operate normally but will not store new data or generate new rewards. Please note that if nodes remain online, random checks will occur every half hour.

Question 3: When does the Cassini test network start?

Answer: We plan to start the next phase of the Cassini test network around 8:00 June 28 (UTC).

Question 4: Can current node storage data be used in the Cassini test network?

Answer: No, the Cassini test network will have new target tasks and a new reward mechanism. Data from previous test phases will be deleted.

Question 5: Can the current node program be used in the Cassini test network?

Answer: No, a new node program will be released before the Cassini test network starts. Please install the new program to participate. Using the old program will not allow you to start.

Question 6: How will node data be deleted? Do I need to delete it manually?

Answer: If you keep the node online, Titan will automatically delete and clean up data after the operation ends. If your node is offline, you will need to manually delete data. Detailed instructions will be provided in upcoming documentation on how to manually delete node data.

Question 7: When can TNT2 and TNT1 reward points be exchanged for TTNT test tokens?

Answer: Please continue to follow our latest announcements; the reward exchange portal is expected to open on June 24.

Question 8: How can I participate in the Cassini test network?

Answer: You can participate in the Cassini test network through the following ways:

  • Running a node (we give higher rewards for nodes run on mobile phones and PCs, rewards for VPS will be reduced).

  • Participating in community tasks.

  • Holding TTNT test tokens and staking them on consensus nodes to earn rewards.

Question 9: During the Cassini test network, will points be lost if not exchanged for test coins? Can they be exchanged in the future?

Answer: During the Cassini test network operation, the TNT3 points obtained from nodes will not be immediately exchanged for test coins. These reward points will be retained until the Cassini test network activities conclude, at which point the exchange channel will open, and you can exchange them for TTNT test coins.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there’s anything else you ask.
