# Data Cleaning on Linux

When you need to clean up the Titan Edge's data, the operation will vary depending on whether the `TITAN_EDGE_PATH` or `EDGE_PATH` environment variable is set. Please follow the guide below:

### No environment variable set

If you have not specified the `TITAN_EDGE_PATH` or `EDGE_PATH` environment variable, you need to delete the default Titan Edge data directory. Please execute the following command:

```bash
rm -rf ~/.titanedge
```

### Environment Variables Already Set

If you **have specified** the `TITAN_EDGE_PATH` or `EDGE_PATH` environment variables, you should remove the specific directories that these environment variables point to. Please select the appropriate command to execute based on your environment variable settings:

* If you set the TITAN\_EDGE\_PATH :

```bash
rm -rf $TITAN_EDGE_PATH
```

* If the EDGE\_PATH :

```bash
rm -rf $EDGE_PATH
```

These commands will remove the directory specified by the environment variable and all its contents. Be sure to replace `<TITAN_EDGE_PATH>` or `<EDGE_PATH>` in the command with the actual environment variable value.
