Titan L1 Node Governance and Phase 2 Plan Announcement

Dear Titan Node Operators and Community Members,

We are thrilled to announce that the first phase of the Titan L1 Network, the "Stress Test and Data Collection," has been successfully completed!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every node operator who participated in this initial phase. Your steadfast operation has provided us with invaluable real-world data, enabling us to accurately assess network performance, validate system models, and lay a solid foundation for the next phase of evolution.

Building on the valuable outcomes of the first phase, we are now launching the comprehensive governance of the Titan L1 Network, officially initiating the transition to Phase 2. We are committed to creating a fair, transparent, robust, and high-value Titan L1 Network, ensuring that every genuine contributor’s efforts are duly rewarded. Through this governance, we will further strengthen the network’s foundation, immediately enhance the availability of Titan’s storage services, and pave the way for future business expansion.

I. Fair and Transparent L1 Governance Plan

To ensure the long-term health of the network and fairness for all participants, this governance optimization will be based on objective, quantifiable technical data collected during the first phase.

  1. Handling of Non-Compliant Nodes

    1. Evaluation Criteria: Node selection is entirely based on technical metrics recorded in the backend, primarily including “upload/download task success rate” and “average upload/download speed.” Nodes that consistently and significantly fall below the network benchmark (failing to meet even one-third of the official standards) and cannot provide effective services are deemed severely non-compliant.

    2. Resolution: To maintain network fairness, the historical earnings of the nodes listed in the table below will be reduced by 90%, their L1 node status will be revoked, and the nodes will be taken offline. We understand this may be disappointing, but ensuring network service quality is a necessary step to responsibly support all contributors and aligns with industry standards.

    Note: The data results in the table are comprehensive averages derived from extensive, long-term testing.

  1. Incentives for Retained Core Contributors

All nodes that meet the standards and transition to Phase 2 are vital to the future of the Titan Network. Your dedication will continue to be rewarded:

  • Historical Contribution Reward: The earnings deducted from the 24 non-compliant nodes will form a special incentive pool, fully distributed to all nodes transitioning to Phase 2. The allocation will strictly follow the proportion of each node’s historical contribution value (points) from Phase 1, ensuring fairness and rewarding greater contributions. This reward honors the core partners joining Titan in this new phase, and nodes choosing to exit will not participate in this incentive distribution.

  • Historical Issue Exemption: For all retained nodes, any issues from Phase 1, such as not fully meeting bandwidth requirements, will be forgiven. In Phase 2, we will tailor resource rules to the current average standards, striving to avoid requiring additional resource commitments.

  1. Flexible Exit Channel

We understand that some early participants may wish to reallocate resources due to personal plans. To accommodate this, we are offering a limited-time exit channel.

  • Exit Conditions: Nodes successfully applying for exit through this channel will not face the standard 60% penalty on historical earnings, recognizing your valuable contributions to the early development of the Titan Network.

  • Application Period: June 13, 2025 – June 19, 2025 (7 days).

  • Important Note: After this window closes, standard exit rules will apply.

II. Titan L1 Network’s New Journey: Sustained Contribution, Shared Value

We encourage all node operators to continue stable operations and contribute to the Titan ecosystem. To ensure a smooth transition:

  1. The existing reward and evaluation mechanisms will remain in place, allowing you to participate with confidence.

  2. As we move into a phase of providing services to clients, the value of rewards will increase. To reflect the value of contributions in different phases, points earned after this governance milestone may have adjusted redemption values in the future. Stay tuned for further announcements.

Following the governance optimization, the Titan L1 Network will enter a new developmental phase. L1 nodes are the lifeline of Titan’s storage business, and a fair, efficient L1 network is the foundation for expanding real-world storage applications and client partnerships.
