Dear Titan Network Ecosystem Participants,
Recently, during the in-depth operation of Titan’s third testnet, we received feedback from decentralized storage demand clients regarding L1 node quality issues. To ensure testnet stability and user experience, our technical team conducted a comprehensive bandwidth performance inspection of all L1 nodes.
Inspection Results While most nodes are functioning well, some exhibit significant issues:
Service failures: Certain nodes cannot respond to upload/download requests.
Bandwidth underperformance: Some nodes fail to meet L1 technical standards (downlink 500Mbps, uplink 200Mbps).
Data anomalies: A few nodes display irregular performance metrics.
These issues negatively impact user experience and hinder the healthy development of the network ecosystem. As core infrastructure, L1 node quality directly determines Titan Network’s stability and reliability.
Rectification Requirements Affected node operators must complete technical rectification by May 9, 2025, ensuring:
24/7 stable online status.
Compliance with hardware configurations.
Bandwidth meeting technical standards. Technical support will be provided during this period.
Post-Rectification Measures
Unannounced inspections: Continuous monitoring and random checks will be conducted.
Penalties:
Unrectified nodes: Disqualification from L1 status and full reward penalties.
Partially rectified nodes: Full reward penalties if standards remain unmet.
Compliant nodes: No penalties; eligibility for future incentives.
Rewards for Excellence
Outstanding nodes will receive:
Additional rewards post-mainnet launch.
Subsidy allocations from penalties imposed on non-compliant nodes.
Titan Network’s success relies on collective efforts. Through this rectification, we aim to enhance network quality and lay a solid foundation for the upcoming mainnet launch.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
