When encountering the error message: "cannot connect to the multipass socket
", it's usually related to driver configuration.
First, check current driver settings:
multipass get local.driver
Check the output:
If you're using VirtualBox as virtualization platform, output should show virtualbox
If output shows hyperv
, you'll need to change the driver settings
To switch to VirtualBox driver, execute this command:
multipass set local.driver=virtualbox
Follow-up Actions:
If issues persist after above steps, run the repair function in Multipass installer
Restart related services after repair
Ensure VirtualBox is properly installed on your system
Administrative privileges required for executing commands
Multipass services may need restart after driver modification

Click Visual Studio 2015、2017、2019 和 2022 , then select and download the appropriate version
